A compact. independent wing of a traditional Provençal 'mas' situated just outside the beautiful old town of St Rémy-de-Provence in the heart of the AIpilles hills.
The interior is simply but pleasantly furnished, giving onto a lovely garden with a spectacular view of olive trees, with the peaks of the Chaîne des AIpilles as the backdrop - altogether a very tranquil setting within delightful surroundings. The garden is shared with the discreet owner. but there is a secluded sitting-out area for guests private use. St Rémy is renowned for a number of reasons - the 16th-century astrologer, Nostradamus, was born here and it has been (and still is) the home of numerous artists. including Van Gogh. Just to the south of the town lie the ruins of die Roman town of Glanum.
